Norfolk Fishing Network
Posted by: fishingfan on Monday, August 09, 2010 (14:14:19)
My Latest Cool fishing site is the long standing Norfolk Fishing Network.
This site has been around since 2004 and is still updated 6 years later on. There's loads of fishing information on the site and even some fun fishing games to play whilst not by the bank.
As you'd expect there information on fishing in the county. If you've not visited yet. Take a look.

FlyFishingVenues.co.uk

Flyfishingvenues.co.uk is my latest Cool Fishing Site. It's also currently number one in my UK Fishing Topsites too.
The site does what it says on the url, it's about fly fishing and venues. It's got lots of venues reviewed by visitors, but also a blog , videos and more.
If you're into fly fishing in the UK, go take a look if you haven't already.

Croxly Green Fly Fishers
Posted by: fishingfan on Monday, March 22, 2010 (15:48:36)
Following a post in the forums by CGFF, I came across the Croxly Green Fly Fishers website. www.cgff.co.uk
It's a fly fishing club website, and looks really nice in the layout and theme. Got the usual club info and membership on the site. Also has a nice bit of fishing humour and some fishing games on the website.
Worth a look folks especially if you're into fly fishing.
The club meets at Croxly Green in Rickmansworth off J18 of the M25.

FishKeep.Net

Another cool fishing site I've just come across is www.fishkeep.net.
This is looking to build a fishing community, with venues that can be rated, articles, forum, and the ability for members to have their own blog!
Aside from that there's a good amount of fishing content there, with some good articles and interesting carp and trout fishing venues, which seem to be from around the country, rather than just centralized in one area as is often the case.

AA Angling

My third cool fishing site is AA Angling.co.uk a new fishing website from Essex.
The AA are the initials of the father and son fishing reporters who run the site. The sites looks great and is nicely laid out. As it's new there's only a few pages a present, but there's already some venues and reports. Worth a quick visit, especially if you go fishing in Essex.

find-a-lake.com

The latest cool site of the moment (and in fact my second so far) is find-a-lake.com.
I spotted this site, when it was recently added to my uktopsites listing. The site does what it says in the url, it allows you to search for lakes, in the UK and abroad. You can search via county and type which brings up a list of lakes available with some brief details, with a link to more in depth info.
There's quite a few lakes listed (and hopefully this will grow in coverage), so if you're into lake fishing, it might be worth a look to see if you can spot a new venue to try out.

The First Cool Fishing Site - FishingPosts.com
Posted by: fishingfan on Thursday, August 06, 2009 (10:54:12)
First up in my Cool Fishing Sites is www.fishingposts.com, a really friendly fishing forum (in fact I've not come across a friendly/well run forum of any kind so far.), run by a cool guy - "Toma" who also helps moderate the forums on Fishing-Fan.
Go take a look and sign up!

Introducing The Cool Fishing Site of the Moment
Posted by: fishingfan on Thursday, August 06, 2009 (10:30:32)
After a while in preparing the website for this, I'm introducing a new feature to Fishing-Fan.co.uk today.
This is the "Cool Fishing Site of the Moment". Which will represent the latest good looking, interesting, fun, or whatever Fishing Site that has that X Factor that make it COOL!
The Cool Site will feature at the top-ish part of Fishing-Fan's home page, and stay there till I pick so other Fishing Site to be the Coolest. Could be an hour, a day, a week or longer! read more ...
