Southwestseafishing.co.uk, tags itself Devon & Cornwalls Favourite Fishing Guide, so how does it live up to the claim ?

The site is really well designed and laid out, and is relatively new on the web, starting last year in 2008. The main draw to the site must be the excellent guides to fishing marks around Devon and Cornwall. I've not come across such in depth descriptions and advice on a sea fishing site to date. These really are excellent with zoomable maps, to the locations, good description of the venues and access. There's also detailed depth maps to aid casting out, along with information of the types of fish you can get there.

The guides can be found on the site, via the location name and on the menu, but also there's 3 handy region maps, that allow you to see the fishing guides available, along with those coming soon to the site. If all those marked to be added, with the same detail level as those already there, this will be an amazing information site for sea fishing in the region, that's
not to say there's a lack of guides already!

In addition to these excellent guides, the site also features reports/blogs Paul/Nath, some great tips and information on bait for sea fishing, including the most recent headliner at the time of review, tips on how to make to catch more bass. These are all interesting read, and hopefully more will be added as time goes by. I should mention also that should you successfully catch some mackrel (there's an article on how to on the site too) you can cook it to their Mackrel Ceviche recipe.

SouthWestSeaFishing, really is an excellent guide to fishing the sea in Devon & Cornwall, I've not seen anything like the information available here for this area of England on the net, and was a real pleasure to review. I hope that the site
continues to add content to it, and has the success it deserves.

Overall 9/10 : A real gem of a site for sea fishing information in Devon & Cornwall. Thoroughly recommended.
